School Lunch: Field Trip Disposable Monster Bento Lunch

Field Trip: Disposable School Lunch Monster Lunch partiesandpottytraining.com

Asa had a field trip last week and needed a disposable lunch. I decided to go with a monster theme since it’s October and, well, who doesn’t love a cute monster?     I used a strawberry clamshell to pack his lunch and wrapped it with card stock. I used my Silhouette machine to cut the teeth out and attached eyes for the monsters face.   In his lunch I sent a “Ghost” PB&J sandwich, Carrots, TJ’s chocolate pretzel, Hummus, Annie’s Organic Bunny Crackers, Grapes (In a Wexy bag), Annie’s Organic pretzels (other Wexy Bag) and Frankin-occoli.    For the […]

Pottery Barn Kids Inspired Easter Plaque DIY

PBKoff11

I pretty much love all things Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids.  Sometimes I wish I could jump in the catalog and live on the pages.  The decor and furnishings are just so cozy!  What I do not love are the crazy price tags.  Most people that live in the real world can’t afford to buy every piece from them (and probably wouldn’t want to).  That’s why I love sites like Ana White’s and Knock off Decor.  They offer the Pottery Barn (and other brand names) look for less with building plans and tutorials. After perusing the new spring line […]

A darling friend of mine (Kristen) was getting married and I knew I wanted to throw her shower with another friend (hi Stephie!).  So we sat down and brainstormed a ton of ideas about what we wanted to do for her shower. Kristen loves books and reading.  In fact, she loves them so much, that her wedding centerpieces were books and seating cards were bookmarks (so cute!)  Our original plan for the shower was to do a total library theme with books and pages from books […]

Top Gun Birthday Party

DorianBD2

I’m not super proud of how late I am in posting this…but I still think it was a fun party!  Last *ahem* February, I asked some of my friends if anyone was interested in me helping them throw a party for their little one.  At the time I was wanting to build up my portfolio so I could start a party planning business, but that has since fallen to the way-side (fear not! I still plan on doing parties, and my new business venture is in that realm…muhahah…I just don’t want to HAVE TO do it). Well, one of my […]
