Thanksgiving Leftover Panini Sandwich

Thanksgiving Leftover Panini Sandwich partiesandpottytraining.com Photos by: Jasmine Nicole Photography

I love this Thanksgiving leftover recipe! To be honest, I can’t remember how we came across it- whether we came up with it on our own or saw one somewhere and decided to make it- but either way, it’s become a day after Thanksgiving staple at our house and I am so excited to share it here! Later this week I’ll be sharing our family Thanksgiving recipes, so you can experience the same tastes we do, but for now, here is the super simple recipe for the panini. Sliced sour dough bread Olive oil or butter for brushing Spoonful premade […]

Creamy Green Chile Chicken Soup

Creamy Green Chile Chicken Soup from partiesandpottytraining.com; photography by Jasmine Nicole Photography

Perfect for fall and full of warm creamy deliciousness is this little gem my husband and I came up with last year. Green Chile Stew is not hard to come by in New Mexico, but finding a creamy soup with green chile for those brisk fall and winter nights is a little more difficult.  I can think of only a handful of restaurants in town that serve a creamy version of soup and honestly, I just don’t want to pack up three kids and pay money for what we can make at home. Once again these pictures are from the […]

Tuesday Recipe Freezer Lasagna

Freezer Lasagna

Today I have for you a homemade lasagna that is a great freezer meal. I first got this recipe back in July of 2008. A friend of ours (hi Sandra!) made it for us and it was di-vine. I mean really. What’s not to love about diced tomatoes perfectly seasoned squished between soft noodles and copious amounts of cheese? The great thing about this recipe is it is SO easy to double. Not only that, it freezes beautifully! So if you need to take someone a meal or just don’t want to cook, this is a great meal to have […]

Tuesday Recipe: Sweet and Chunky Chicken Salad

Lasagna and caesar -1

I’ve been wanting to blog some recipes for a long time. Unfortunately, I’m not a great photographer and if you don’t know much about food photography- well, let’s just say it’s not as forgiving as parties can be… Fortunately, I have some really talented photographer friends and Jasmine, of Jasmine Nicole Photography, agreed to help me out. So if you haven’t yet, you need to go like her page on Facebook and then run over and follow her blog. She’s super and super talented. Speaking of liking pages, don’t forget to like ours if you haven’t already! I post fun […]

I L-O-V-E Panini’s!

DSC_8390

So I’m pretty sure I have committed the cardinal sin of food blogging.  I forgot to get an amazing after picture!  I apologize up front for being so lame.  I had a lunch meeting with some wedding coordinators from church and we had panini’s.  Since I was hungry and we were only half hazardly documenting the process with pictures, I will have to rely on your imaginations and the pictures I did get. I happened to come across these panini’s a few years ago.  My mom brought me a sandwich from her friends house that had meat (turkey or roast […]

Ode to Fondue – Our family fondue recipe.

QUA19

Oh fondue, how I love you! We first met many years ago, a family tradition on Christmas Eve. My love for you has never wained, and I have learned much about your ways as time has passed. Discovering your many varieties has only made my heart grow fonder. The cheese, the broth, the chocolate.  You tease me so. The original family still remains a favorite. We love to share with friends and family, a perfect one pot meal. Oh fondue, how I love you! Recipe: 1 clove of garlic- halved 1 bottle of the cheapest beer you can stand to […]
